This role works closely with global IT, security, and software engineering teams to ensure security requirements are consistently implemented, monitored, and improved.The ideal candidate has broad security exposure, strong operational discipline, and an interest in improving how security is embedded into day‑to‑day technology operations and new product development.Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Operations & Control ExecutionSupport day‑to‑day execution of security controls across endpoints, servers, identities, applications, and cloud platformsTrack adherence to security requirements and follow up on gaps with regional teamsMaintain accurate records, evidence, and reporting related to security control coverageEnsure security tasks and remediation actions are progressing and documentedCloud & Infrastructure SecuritySupport security operations within Azure and AWS environments, including visibility into workloads and configurationsAssist with monitoring security tooling and baseline controls for cloud-hosted systemsHelp validate security requirements for new cloud resources and servicesIdentify configuration or control gaps and escalate or coordinate remediationVulnerability Management & Risk HandlingAssist with vulnerability tracking, triage, and remediation coordinationHelp ensure systems that cannot meet security standards have documented and approved risk exceptionsMaintain inventories of vulnerabilities, exceptions, and associated remediation or compensating controlsSupport periodic reviews to ensure risk records remain accurate and currentIdentity & Access SupportParticipate in access reviews, entitlement validations, and privilege attestationsTrack review outcomes and remediation activitiesSupport documentation and evidence related to access management controlsPromote least‑privilege and appropriate access practices through consistent executionApplication & Product Security CollaborationWork with software engineers and product teams during design and implementation of new systemsAssist with security reviews for applications, SaaS tools, and internal servicesHelp validate security considerations such as authentication, authorization, data protection, and loggingSupport integration of security requirements into development and deployment workflowsSecurity Tools, Automation & Process ImprovementAssist in operationalizing security tools that are newly implemented or not yet fully adoptedHelp define and document workflows, procedures, and ownership for security technologiesIdentify opportunities to improve existing automations or reduce manual effortContribute ideas and support efforts to modernize and scale security operationsSecurity Program & Gap IdentificationIdentify gaps, inefficiencies, or inconsistencies across security processes and controlsAssist with developing practical, risk‑based plans to address identified gapsTrack progress and support implementation of improvement initiativesHelp establish metrics and reporting to measure control effectivenessRequired Qualifications3–6 years of experience in information security, IT operations, or risk-related rolesExposure across multiple security areas (security operations, access management, governance, or risk)Basic understanding of application security concepts and how software is built and deployedStrong organizational, documentation, and follow‑up skillsAbility to work effectively with distributed teams across regionsPreferred QualificationsExperience with endpoint security, vulnerability management, or SIEM toolingFamiliarity with security frameworks or control-based programs (SOC 2, ISO, NIST, CIS)Experience working alongside software engineers or platform teamsExposure to security automation, scripting, or workflow toolsExposure and understanding of AI and LLMCuriosity and initiative to identify improvements beyond assigned tasksCore CompetenciesOperational Excellence: Executes security tasks consistently and accuratelyCollaboration: Works effectively with IT, engineering, and security stakeholdersRisk Awareness: Understands tradeoffs and supports risk‑based decisionsProblem Solving: Identifies gaps and contributes to practical solutionsContinuous Improvement: Seeks ways to improve processes, tooling, and coverageWhat Success Looks LikeSecurity requirements are consistently tracked and followed up across environmentsCloud and application security needs are addressed early and clearlyVulnerabilities and exceptions are well‑maintained and audit‑readyAccess reviews and security attestations are completed on timeSecurity tools and processes continue to mature and scaleBenefits We support your well-being with comprehensive and easy-to-use benefits that you’ll be eligible to enroll in on your first day of employment.
