BC/BE Cardiac Anesthesiologist – Bethesda Hospital East, Boynton Beach, FL Job Overview In this role you will be a member of the Anesthesia Care Team, primarily covering cardiac anesthesia cases and providing coverage for the general adult operating room as needed. Responsibilities Provide anesthesia care for cardiac procedures including CABG, valve surgery, TAVR, Mitraclip, Tricuspid Clip, and atrial occlusion device placement. Perform and interpret transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) during cardiac cases. Participate in home‑based cardiac call only, with limited callback duties. Cover the cardiac unit during assigned blocks and float to the main OR to cover general adult cases (OB, GYN, ENT, Urology, Orthopedic, Spine, Vascular, Regional, Neurologic). Maintain high‑quality, evidence‑based anesthesia practices in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology. Completed a Cardiothoracic (CV) fellowship training. Proficiency in Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE). Strong communication and teamwork skills.
