Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, from abdominal and obstetric to gynecological and vascular imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout each examination, articulating the process with empathy and clarity
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to provide exemplary diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
• Document all procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic medical record system

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from ARDMS or a comparable certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
