Locations: Los Angeles, Ontario, or San Diego, CA

Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid / Flexible Schedule

The Position: We are hiring an Architectural Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead complex healthcare (HCAi) projects from planning and design through construction. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare PM who understands the demands of California hospital and medical facility work (HCAi/OSHPD) and can confidently manage clients, multidisciplinary teams, consultants, schedules, budgets, and technical delivery.

*Candidates must be local to either our Los Angeles, Ontario, or San Diego studios.

What You’ll Do

• Manage complex healthcare projects from programming and planning through construction administration.
• Serve as a primary day-to-day client contact and trusted project advisor.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, work plans, and deliverables.
• Lead multidisciplinary architecture, interiors, engineering, consultant, and specialty teams.
• Coordinate complex healthcare planning and technical requirements.
• Maintain strong communication with hospital stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Guide projects through applicable HCAI / California healthcare regulatory processes.
• Lead internal project meetings, client presentations, consultant coordination, and decision-making.
• Monitor project financial performance, staffing utilization, schedules, and profitability.
• Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions.
• Participate in proposals, interviews, business development, and client relationship management.
• Mentor Project Architects, designers, and emerging Project Managers.
• Maintain design quality and technical standards throughout project delivery.

Job Qualifications

• 8+ years of architectural project management experience, with senior-level candidates bringing additional project leadership experience.
• Strong healthcare projects (HCAi/OSHPD) and architectural background required.
• Experience managing hospital, HCAi/OSHPD, or similarly complex healthcare projects.
• California healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of HCAI requirements and processes strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage project teams, consultants, schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
• Experience with complex renovation, expansion, and/or new construction healthcare projects.
• Strong understanding of architectural project delivery from programming through construction administration.
• Proficiency with Revit and contemporary project management/documentation platforms.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• California architectural license strongly preferred for Senior PM-level candidates.
• LEED, DBIA, WELL, or related credentials are a plus.
