Revive Mental Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote outpatient team in Thousand Oaks, California. The ideal candidate will possess either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) credential, and will play a critical role in delivering high-quality mental health care to individuals in need. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client. \n
- Deliver high-quality individual and group psychotherapy sessions, ensuring that they are conducted in accordance with organizational policies and clinical best practices. \n
- Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, utilizing effective assessment and de-escalation techniques to support clients in acute distress. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment progress notes and mental health evaluations, to ensure continuity of care. \n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including consulting with institutional staff on case management and therapeutic strategies. \n
- Participate actively in ongoing staff training sessions, team meetings, and program development discussions to enhance service delivery. \n
- Contribute to our Quality Improvement program by maintaining accountability for services provided and supporting efforts to refine therapeutic approaches. \n

Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. \n
- Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC, with knowledge of supervision guidelines and competencies. \n
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in crisis management and delivering mental health services in a clinical setting. \n
- Proficient knowledge of mental health counseling practices, including individual and group therapy methodologies, diagnostic processes, psychological assessments, and crisis intervention techniques. \n

- Experience utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and client management. \n
- Background in community mental health settings or outpatient care is highly desirable. \n
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care approaches. \n
