Hospital Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary Our client is seeking a Compounding Pharmacy Technician responsible for handling both dispensing duties and clean room tasks. The role involves preparing sterile compounds, processing medication orders, providing customer service, and maintaining inventory. Key Responsibilities Split day workflow consisting of dispensing duties for half of the day and working in the clean rooms for the other half. Prepares sterile compounds, including IV admixtures, IVPBs, and TPNs, in compliance with USP 795, USP 797, and USP 800 standards. Processes medication orders, restocks inventory, and maintains emergency and transport medication trays. Provides customer service by responding to phone inquiries and assisting at the pharmacy service window. Returns medications to inventory and helps monitor stock levels, including controlled substances. Serves as a resource for pharmacy technicians and assists with training and onboarding new staff. Qualifications High School or Equivalent (GED) Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license is required.
