Hours per Shift: 40 hours
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience required
License: Licensed by the State Clienttion Control Board
Certifications: ARRT Registered - RT (R) or RT (N)
Must-Have: ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography preferred; If no CT License at time of hire, Technologist has one year to obtain CT License; CPR certified
Description:
Performs a variety of Computed Tomography procedures and duties under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and Operations Manager.
Utilizes prescribed levels of ionizing radiation in accordance with regulations.
Executes all activities according to federal, state, local, and institutional policies and procedures.
Works with a diverse patient demographic, ranging from newborns to geriatrics.
Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts.
Demonstrates the ability to insert and remove IVs.
Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients is preferred.
