Position Overview

We are seeking a Family Centered Treatment (FCT) Therapist to provide intensive, family-focused behavioral health services to children and families. The therapist will work directly with families in their natural environments, helping them address mental health, substance abuse, family functioning, abuse, neglect, and other complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Family Centered Treatment (FCT) to children and their families.
• Provide individual and family counseling within the FCT model.
• Conduct mental health assessments, intake evaluations, and comprehensive family evaluations.
• Maintain an average caseload of approximately 4 FCT families .
• Conduct a minimum of two multi-hour face-to-face sessions per week with each family, as appropriate.
  

FCT Training & Certification

• Complete the required Wheels of Change online training within 8 weeks of hire.
• Complete field-based certification through observed or videotaped demonstrations with real clients.
• Obtain full FCT certification within approximately 6–9 months of hire.
  

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant behavioral health, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children and families .
• Active LPC license required .
• Strong ability to build rapport and engage with clients and families.
