Role Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to support both internal operations tooling and the customer-facing commerce experience. This role works across Apache OFBiz using Java and Vue.js, plus a headless commerce stack using Go and Svelte. The ideal candidate is a backend-grounded full-stack engineer who can own features end to end, troubleshoot production issues, partner with operations, and mentor teammates on OFBiz, SQL, and reporting.

Responsibilities

- Build, enhance, and maintain features in Apache OFBiz using Java and JavaScript/Vue.js.

- Maintain integrations across the technology ecosystem.

- Translate operational requirements into clean technical solutions and designs.

- Troubleshoot production issues and support platform reliability and uptime.

- Mentor teammates on OFBiz, reporting, and SQL.

- Contribute to the Go backend and Svelte frontend headless commerce stack.

- Build customer-facing features and APIs.

- Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain standards and documentation.

- Partner closely with the operations team.

- Use AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code, where helpful.

Requirements

Requirements

- 5+ years of professional web development experience.

- Strong Java and JavaScript experience, including hands-on Vue.js work.

- Full-stack capability across backend and frontend development.

- Apache OFBiz experience or comparable enterprise Java framework experience is a strong plus.

- Familiarity with Go and Svelte, or the ability to ramp quickly.

- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Ability to own work independently and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners.

- Availability to work a hybrid schedule in Salt Lake City, UT, 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.

Nice to Have

- GCP configuration experience for OFBiz or similar enterprise platforms.

- Experience mentoring others on ERP platforms, SQL, and reporting.

- E-commerce, fulfillment, or mission-driven consumer brand experience.

Compensation and Benefits

- Base salary: $115,000 - $130,000.
