Our prominent retail client, a leader in the industry, is dedicated to bringing exceptional value and style to customers worldwide. They are looking for a talented and visionary creative professional to join their in-house team.

As a Senior Designer/Art Director, you will be at the forefront of shaping compelling brand narratives and visual experiences. Your innovative concepts and artistic execution will directly influence how customers connect with the brand, driving engagement and reinforcing its unique identity across diverse platforms. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on creative direction and visual communication, ensuring the brand remains fresh, memorable, and persuasive.

What you will do:

• With guidance from senior creative leadership, partner with a copywriter to conceive and execute engaging social media content across multiple channels, ensuring consistency with strategic goals and brand guidelines.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of creative ideas, drawing from project manager input, internal team collaboration, and personal research.
• Collaborate closely with brand and channel project managers, traffic, production, and studio teams to efficiently meet project objectives, schedules, budgets, and deadlines, under the supervision of senior creative.
• Under the direction and approval of senior creative, meticulously monitor all creative materials through every stage of pre-production and production, ensuring flawless execution.
• Proactively manage and complete all assigned work on time, providing regular status updates to senior creative leadership.
• Utilize your skills to compose and digitally capture product and conceptual imagery, both in-house and on location, bringing creative visions to life.
• Stay continuously informed about current industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to keep the brand's creative output fresh and cutting-edge.
• Receive and integrate guidance from senior creative on production aspects that inform concept development and creative execution, fostering continuous learning and growth.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 4-6+ years of relevant professional experience in design and/or art direction, with a strong background in fashion, social media platforms, best practices, photography, and styling, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School diploma combined with a BFA or a design-related degree.
• Profound understanding of graphic design principles, photography (including practical image capture skills), illustration, typography, animation, and current social media platforms.
• Demonstrated talent and a sophisticated design sensibility, with proven experience in social media and digital execution.
• A proven ability to proactively identify and solve complex problems.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and visual, capable of articulating ideas effectively whether collaborating with copywriters or working independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration within a team environment.
• A track record of successfully presenting creative ideas to internal teams, clients, and senior creative leadership.
• Intelligent and organized thinking, demonstrating strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to accuracy.
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including InDesign, Photoshop (with experience in .gif creation), Illustrator, and animation applications such as After Effects.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and a broad technical design skill set applicable across various media.
