We are hiring a 2nd Shift Quality Inspector to join our team in Ontario, CA. salary: $52,000 - $72,800 per year shift: Second work hours: 2 PM - 10:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities Precision Inspection: Conduct thorough dimensional inspections of components and assemblies using advanced metrology tools (Romer Arm) alongside standard precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges). First Article Inspection (FAI): Execute and document comprehensive First Article Inspections strictly adhering to

guidelines. Process & Surface Verification: Verify protective coatings, surface finishes, and special processing against engineering drawings and spec sheets. Nonconformance & Quality Control: Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming materials to maintain total product traceability. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with machinists, quality engineers, and production staff to address quality discrepancies and evaluate workmanship standards. Equipment Compliance: Ensure all inspection gauges and precision tooling are fully calibrated and compliant prior to use. Operational Standards: Maintain 5S, safety protocols, and continuous improvement initiatives across the inspection station.
