Successful candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine and be eligible for a medical license in the State of Georgia. The section is seeking to add an additional full‑time faculty member to continue its growth and increase research productivity. Applicants must demonstrate excellent qualifications in graduate and undergraduate medical education and in clinical care. The candidate will be active clinically in our safety‑net hospital and in the clinical faculty practice. Research opportunities include clinical and/or basic science collaborations. Minimum Qualifications Board certified or board eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine Medical license in the State of Georgia (preferred) Preferred Qualifications None specified. Job Duties Rank: Open Rank Faculty (Assistant, Associate or Professor), Maternal Fetal Medicine. Inpatient Services will be provided at Grady Hospital and other facilities. Time will be allocated based on the clinical needs of the department. The candidate will provide clinical care to include obstetrics and gynecologic services with a focus on the medical and surgical management of high‑risk pregnancies, including comprehensive ultrasound, birth defects, genetic testing, and fetal surgery at designated sites and participate in on‑call duties as assigned. Outpatient Services will be provided at Grady Hospital and other facilities. Outpatient services will be allocated based on the clinical needs of the department. The candidate will provide clinical care and other duties as assigned. Candidate will be expected to obtain and maintain hospital privileges at all partnering institutions. Immunization Requirements MSM requires proof of COVID‑19 vaccination prior to commencement of employment. If employment begins during flu season, MSM requires proof of seasonal influenza vaccination for the current season, unless an exemption is granted. Failure to provide proof of required vaccinations may result in rescission of the candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
