Job Title: Industrial Painter/Sandblaster

Job Description

The Industrial Painter/Sandblaster is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing structural steel components used in large-scale construction and industrial projects. This role ensures all fabricated materials are painted to specification, protected from corrosion, and finished with high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate has experience with industrial coatings, surface preparation, and working in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coat structural steel components for construction and industrial projects.
• Ensure all materials are painted to specification and protected from corrosion.
• Perform surface preparation and finishing with high-quality workmanship.
• Utilize industrial painting techniques and equipment effectively.

Essential Skills

• Experience with industrial painting.
• Proficiency in using paint guns and airless sprayers.
• Ability to perform prep work and surface preparation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with sandblasting.
• Familiarity with commercial and residential painting.
• Knowledge of powder coating techniques.
• Experience working with large structural beams.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
