Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong experience in the off-highway, agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment industry . The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of automotive LV/HV electrical systems, electrical architecture, schematics, component management, supplier validation, and engineering documentation .

Experience with Capital for electrical architecture and schematic development is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical architectures and schematics for off-highway and mobile equipment.
• Work with LV and HV electrical systems and components used in automotive and off-highway applications.
• Develop electrical schematics using Capital and support Capital tool enhancements and schematic analysis.
• Perform supplier DVP vs. customer specification gap analysis , risk assessment, and DVPR summary preparation.
• Create and maintain electrical component lists, including part numbers (PNs), component strategy, and maintenance .
• Create electrical specifications, design quality documents, and component roadmaps .
• Release electrical component drawings according to customer drawing and engineering requirements.
• Maintain project updates and documentation using Polarion .
• Support quality and field-failure investigations by working with platform teams to identify root causes and corrective solutions .
• Collaborate with suppliers, platform teams, and cross-functional engineering groups throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Support component validation, design reviews, risk assessments, and engineering documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field .
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience .
• Strong experience in off-highway, agricultural, automotive, construction, heavy equipment, or mobile machinery .
• Strong knowledge of LV and HV electrical systems and components .
• Experience developing electrical architecture and electrical schematics .
• Experience with Capital / Capital Harness is strongly preferred.
• Experience with supplier DVP/DVPR, gap analysis, risk assessment, and validation activities .
• Experience managing electrical components, part numbers, specifications, drawings, and engineering documentation .
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
