J&J Logistics 12 LLC is seeking a dependable, professional CDL driver for over-the-road freight. This position requires flexibility and the ability to remain on the road for multiple weeks when needed.

Schedule: This is an OTR position, not a local driving position. Drivers must be available for extended trips, including nights, weekends, and multiple-state routes when required.

Requirements

• Valid CDL appropriate for the equipment operated
• Current DOT medical card
• Clean and acceptable MVR
• No preventable accidents within the past 3 years
• No license suspension or revocation within the past 3 years
• Must meet all DOT/FMCSA driver qualification requirements
• Must pass required DOT drug testing and Clearinghouse requirements
• Strong knowledge of Hours-of-Service regulations
• Must know how to properly use and maintain an ELD
• No falsification of logs
• Ability to perform proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Knowledge of basic cargo securement
• Ability to use straps, load bars, pallet jacks, and related equipment when required
• Reliable communication and ability to provide timely updates to dispatch
• Must be dependable, professional, safety-conscious, and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Safely transport freight throughout assigned routes
• Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
• Maintain accurate ELD and HOS records
• Inspect the truck and report mechanical or safety issues immediately
• Properly secure and protect freight
• Verify Bills of Lading, Proof of Delivery, and other shipment paperwork
• Maintain communication with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, or problems
• Keep company equipment clean and in good condition
• Maintain professional conduct with customers, brokers, shippers, receivers, and DOT personnel
