Job Summary:
Tim Short Chevrolet GMC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Vehicle Detailer to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring all vehicles—both new and pre-owned—are thoroughly cleaned, polished, and presented in top condition for customers. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, maintains high standards, and works efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, wash, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets, clean upholstery, and wipe down interior surfaces
- Apply protective finishes to exteriors and interiors as needed
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any damage or issues
- Prepare vehicles for delivery, display, or service return
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous detailing or automotive experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Work Environment:
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment
