Physician - OB/GYN
Barton Associates
Our client is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for an 8-day assignment in Virginia, commencing Dec 18, 2026. This role involves performing GYN surgery, with a strong emphasis on hysterectomies, and participating in an emergency call schedule. Responsibilities will include managing urgent cases such as ectopic pregnancies, D&C procedures, and infrequent consults, ensuring comprehensive patient care within a dynamic clinical environment. Responsibilities and Duties Perform GYN surgery, with particular expertise in hysterectomies. Respond to emergency call-ins for urgent obstetric and gynecological cases. Manage cases including ectopic pregnancies and D&C procedures. Provide timely consultations as required. Additional Information Required Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology EMR: Epic Call schedule involves an average of two call-ins per month, typically for ectopic pregnancies, D&C, or occasional consults. Preference for a physician strong in GYN surgery, especially hysterectomies.
