OxyChem Pricing Analyst - Dallas, TX

Job Overview OxyChem is a Berkshire Hathaway company and a leading producer of essential chemistry products in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. The Pricing Analyst is a key member of the Supply Chain Team who manages billing, pricing, and marketing support programs for assigned client accounts in accordance with each client’s contract terms. Essential Responsibilities Manages client‑facing and internal activities related to OxyChem product pricing, freight costs, marketing programs, billing adjustments, and rebates for U.S. and Canadian customers. Conducts detailed analyses and provides pricing information as requested by Account Managers or Marketing, using available systems and applications. Calculates formula‑based pricing as specified in sales contracts, utilizing government, industry, and commodity indices. Administers OxyChem policies for implementing general price increase announcements. Ensures approval processes for price changes and billing adjustments are adhered to in accordance with audit requirements. Reconciles customers’ accounts, researching disputed items, resolving cash application issues, and assisting in the collection of outstanding balances. Responds to customer inquiries regarding pricing and account credits/debits using strong communication skills. Partners with Account Managers, Business Managers, Credit, and Customer Relations Representatives to build strong customer relationships while upholding OxyChem’s high standards of business conduct. Identifies, develops, and recommends solutions to recurring issues and works continually to improve pricing/sales contract functions. Participates on teams for internal system improvements and special projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and at least two years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in accounting, finance, or supply chain management. Proficiency in Microsoft applications and ERP/CRM systems (SAP/ERP and Saratoga/CRM). Comfortable learning and operating in an SAP environment. Strong grasp of basic accounting principles and order processing, billing, and pricing in a manufacturing environment. Analytical aptitude, detail‑oriented, organized, with a strong customer relations focus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work well in a team. Demonstrated interpersonal and influencing skills with an aptitude for problem solving and multi‑tasking.
