Proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor

Description: The Cath Lab Tech position involves rotating day shifts. Shifts are 4x10 hours, with varying start times to accommodate completion of procedures. All team members rotate shifts for consistency across schedule periods. The daily caseload is managed across 4 to 5 labs, with 2-3 cardiovascular technologists per lab. Each tech typically handles around 20-25 cases per day. The position requires being on call one weekend every seven weeks, along with an evening shift weekly. Floating between service lines is not required. Candidates should have two or more years of Cath Lab experience. It is essential to have proficiency in coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures. A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency. Travelers may need to accommodate block scheduling, subject to managerial approval. The hospital has a total of 304 staffed beds and utilizes EPIC for charting. Employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Travelers should be aware of the operational requirements during hurricane season, which runs from June to November. Compliance with pre-start requirements is essential for this position to ensure a timely onboarding process.
