The Lippert Automotive Aftermarket team is hiring a Strategic Sourcing professional to add to their team to assist in international vendor and materials sourcing. This position is remote and reports into our CURT facility in Eau Claire, WI.

Responsibilities:

• Complete supplier evaluation and selection
• Develop an approved source list (ASL)
• Be the liaison between Lippert and the suppliers to successfully launch new products on time within budget or price targets
• Negotiation and contract management
• Cost optimization – cost reduction
• Market analysis
• Works directly with cross-functional teams leading collaboration and adoption of Lippert vendor compliance standards
• Manage the vendor's performance: cost, quality, delivery, service, and compliance

Qualifications:

• BS is recommended but not required. Historical working career background will be considered
• Towing, RV and or marine products background a plus but not required
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft based software utilities
• Sourcing in a production environment preferred

Education and Experience:

• College degree (associates or bachelors)
• Buying or sales experience
• Demonstrated relationship building with key internal teams
• Previous experience with maintenance, operations, and facilities

Travel:

• Travel independently, domestically as well as globally up to 10% of time

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States
