Legal Support Specialist

Job Location Austin, Texas Job Summary Pillsbury’s Austin office seeks a Legal Support Specialist to provide administrative support to all practice groups within the Austin office. The role supports attorneys, paralegals, and legal practice coordinators with overflow work and helps cover absences. Responsibilities Attorney time entry and editing pre‑bills. Creating, revising, and formatting legal documents. Preparing expense reports, check requests, and new business memos. Mailings and creation of binders. Entering contacts and maintaining electronic files. Assisting with travel arrangements and scheduling meetings. Conducting research as needed. Providing back‑up coverage for other Legal Support Specialists. Special projects as assigned. Qualifications 1–2 years of legal administrative assistance experience. BA/BS degree. Strong organizational and self‑starter skills. Ability to interact with attorneys, staff, and clients at all levels in a fast‑paced, challenging legal environment. Excellent attention to detail, strong time‑management, written and verbal communication. Strong technical skills. Strong work ethic and ability to work cohesively within a team. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer; must be able to lift 15 lbs. at a time.
