About the Position

• Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

• Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.

• Operate and maintain CT scanners and related imaging equipment.

• Verify patient identity, review medical history, and confirm procedure requirements.

• Administer contrast materials under physician supervision as needed.

• Evaluate scan quality and troubleshoot equipment or procedural issues as necessary.

• Document patient information and exam details accurately in Epic (EMR system).

• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures.

• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow and accurate results.

• Maintain all certifications, licenses, and continuing education requirements in compliance with hospital and state standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist required.

• At least 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience required.

• Travel experience preferred but not required.

• Graduation from an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology required.

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

• BLS Certification (required)

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

• Experience with Epic EMR system (preferred).

• Strong attention to detail and patient-centered care approach
