This role is an integral member of the Business Area Senior Leadership team and is accountable for all aspects of financial performance. This includes: Achieve AOP financial objectives for Orders, Sales, Profit and Cash Flow; earned value reporting and compliance of large complex programs; on time and accurate submission of financial deliverables (internal and external); financial planning and analysis (FP&A); leading Business Area Annual Operating Plan and the Joint Strategic Plan financial processes; partnering with the General Manager, Program Managers and functional leadership teams to develop and execute Business Area near term and long term strategy.Essential Functions:Responsible for the financial performance of the business area including the oversight of program finance for large complex programs and financial planning & analysis (FP&A).Provide financial leadership to foster and drive business success.Lead and develop the finance team to ensure cross functional effectiveness.Ensure Business Area adherence to financial policies, practices and proceduresAssess business risks and develop and execute business-wide growth and improvement plans.Communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management and subordinates including executive level presentations and briefings.Lead, evaluate, integrate and support change management and process improvements.Develop financial performance reporting to support business decision making.Ability to obtain a U.S. TS/SCI Security Clearance.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.3+ years of functional management experience with direct reports5+ years professional experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Earned Value ManagementPrior or current professional experience running a business area portfolio of programs of at least $50M in annual sales in aerospace or defense industryPreferred Additional Skills:Active TS/SCI Security Clearnance is preferred, but not requiredStrong business acumen; understands business implications of decisions; demonstrates knowledge of market and competitionA self-starter; highly motivated; a strong work ethic; ability to promote respect, trust & mobilize organization to fulfill the visionPrior experience with a government contractor or with an aerospace and defense companyExperience with PeopleSoft and Hyperion PlanningMaster's degree in business, finance, accounting or related fieldIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $126,000.00 - $234,000.00.
