FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME) Location: Parkway School District - 369 North Woods Mill Road, Chesterfield, MO 63017 (online applications only). Schedule: Full‑time and part‑time; Monday through Friday, hours may vary from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (details provided during interview). Requirement: Prior food‑service experience is preferred. Pay Range: $15.00–$17.00 per hour. Internal employee referral bonus available. Job Summary Performs cashiering duties and general food‑service work while maintaining sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining room facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare foods by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables; weigh and measure designated ingredients. Transport pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards; distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment. Store foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements. Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control. Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service. Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service‑oriented manner. Relay relevant information to supervisor. Enter sales into the cash register to accurately record purchases. Provide change, accept declining balance cards, and other acceptable payment forms. Issue receipts to customers. Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds. Maintain cash drawer compliance with overage/shortage standards. Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while keeping service area clean. Perform other duties as assigned.
