Registered Nurse - Emergency DepartmentThis is a 13-week contract position.Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Level I Emergency Department, specifically focusing on patient holding areas with a ratio of 6:1. This role involves caring for patients who are admitted and awaiting bed availability in the ED, which may include a designated area or the hallway. In the absence of patients being boarded, the nurse may have opportunities to work in acute care settings, although this should be a rare occurrence. The position requires commitment to working every other weekend and some holidays.Provide patient care to individuals in the Emergency Department holding area.Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.Document patient care activities using Cerner charting system.Participate in the education and support of patients and their families.Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care or Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience required.Current ACLS certification required.Must possess a valid TN license or compact license at the time of submission.Previous charge experience preferred.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
