CDL-A Truck Driver — Regional Runs, Weekly Pay & Benefits

Overview Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Taunton, MA. The position offers weekly pay, benefits, and a rewarding career. Compensation Weekly pay $1,700+ (average), with guaranteed $1,200 weekly. Hourly pay: $30.00 per hour. Travel time: $25.50 per hour. Weekly guarantee: $1,200 (average $1,700 plus weekly). Hours per week: 50‑60 hours. Mileage reimbursement $0.70 after 50 miles. Paid training. Schedule: varies. Start time: PM/AM dispatch. Fleet & Routes Deliver single trips: varies. Route: regional, up to 1 week. Tractor types: sleeper, day cab, 26' straight trucks. Trailer types: dry van, reefer, flatbed 48', 53'. Equipment: electric and manual pallet jack. Ryder will train on all equipment. Freight: touch‑varies. No automatic restrictions. Cover multiple Ryder accounts. Fleet Maintenance Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance, and company drivers fuel at over 800 nationwide facilities. Pass DOT physical. Pass Ryder road test. Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements. Class A experience: 9 months within past 3 years OR 2 years within last 5 years OR 5 years within last 10 years. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines. Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards, maintain accurate records and logs. Load/unload freight or assist as required by customer. Perform other duties as assigned.
