Personal Lines Account Manager

The Role Our Personal Lines team is hiring an Account Manager supporting our Medford, OR and Bend, OR operation. This is a consultative, client-facing role for someone who knows personal lines coverage cold and wants to both protect their clients' assets and grow their book through cross-selling, account rounding, and new business. What You'll Do Analyze clients' loss exposures, determine coverage needs, and deliver high-level consulting on their personal insurance Generate revenue through cross-selling, account rounding, and new business while meeting retention goals Prepare proposals and meet with clients to present recommendations Produce summaries of insurance, schedules, proposals, and related documentation Update accounts and report claims promptly through the agency management system Maintain strong client and carrier relationships and stay current on marketplace changes What You Bring Bachelor's degree with 1+ year as a Personal Lines agent, OR a high school diploma with 4+ years as a Personal Lines agent (other combinations of education and experience considered) Solid knowledge of personal lines coverage, forms, and contract language Familiarity with computerized rating programs and a basic grasp of underwriting guidelines AMS360 experience, or the ability to pick up new software quickly Comfort with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and strong phone and customer-service skills An active Oregon (or resident-state) Property & Casualty license, maintained throughout Brown & Brown is committed to supporting the health, wellbeing, and financial security of our teammates and their families.
