Group Exercise Instructor

Group Exercise Instructor at Dock Woods! Part Time – 10 hours per week Come Live & Grow – Together! We are looking for a Group Exercise Instructor to join our team at Dock Woods! In this role, you will be responsible for designing and leading safe and engaging group exercise that keeps our residents happy and healthy in all areas of fitness and aquatics. Being a part of a senior living team, you will be an integral component for resident well‑being, comfort, and safety. Group Exercise Instructor Overview: Foster a welcoming, positive and supportive environment that builds community engagement and encourages regular attendance Provide clear instruction and safe, effective demonstrations of exercises, offering appropriate modifications to accommodate varying abilities. Monitor participants during class to ensure safety, proper technique and injury prevention Maintain a safe, clean and organized fitness and aquatic environment by promptly reporting equipment concerns or hazards to support preventive maintenance and minimize potential damage Plan, instruct and lead group fitness classes including aquatic and land-based programs designed for older adults with emphasis on aerobics and strength training High School Diploma (required) CPR/First Aid Certification (Required) Certified Personal Trainer or Certified Group Exercise (Required) At Living Branches, a community with a 5-star CMS rating, our roots run deep!
