Senior Full Stack Java Developer

Position Description:

CGI is looking to hire a Full Stack Java (Angular focused development) specializing in building secure scalable and high performance RESTful and event driven APIs to work on projects for one of the largest financial institutions in US in a challenging technical environment and gain exposure of advanced tools and technology suites.
This role will require someone at our client site 5 days a week in Pittsburgh PA (Preferred) but open to Dallas TX and Cleveland OH.

Duties and Responsibilities:Design and implementation of Front-End Agular User INterfaces and API/ microservices (backend components). Building User Interface with Node Js (JavaScript framework).
. Development and unit testing of Java RESTful services that integrates with external client systems. Analyzes user requirements and defines technical project scope and assumptions for assigned technical designs for new systems and/or modifications to existing detailed requirements into functional system closely with internal and external design business and technical and recommend functional libraries to expedite development
Requirements: Minimum 8 years overall experience


. 6 years Java Angular ReactJS CSS JavaScript HTML Node JS
. 4 years of GitHub Jenkins and CI/CD server
. 4 years of RESTful or SOAP web services
. Java/J2EE development with REST API Spring Boot Openshift Container Angular XML JSON UML Jenkins Swagger
. 3 years building containerized micro services and deploying container apps
. Experience writing unit tests for JavaScript code.
. Experience using Agile methodologies for developing application
. Experience with MongoDB is good to have.


Experience with distributed caching event driven and streaming frameworks (Kafka)
Knowledge and understanding of relational and non-relational databases (Oracle SQL NoSQL GraphQL MngoDB)
Knowledge of DevOps best practices. (OCP)
Exhibit the desire to lead and mentor other developers on and across teams.
Develop security procedures to protect databases from unauthorized usage

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70800.00 $156700.00.
