Production Assembly WorkerAs a part of the Production Team, a Production Assembly Worker will be responsible for all required assemblies and installations on heavy-duty transit buses in the assigned work area on the production line, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.We are seeking Production Assembly Workers for two different shifts.Schedule1st shift – Monday - Friday 7a-3:30p with the possibility of manned overtime M-Th until 5:30p and every other Saturday (7am-3:30pm).2nd shift – Monday -Thursday 3pm-1:30am with the possibility of manned overtime every other Friday (3pm-11:30pm).What You Will DoPerforms all installations and/or assemblies within a specified work area on the production line.Prepares work to be accomplished by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.Ensures quality and consistency in installations and/or assemblies within a specified work area.Be able to work from blueprints, process sheets, and/or written instructions, then build to those specifications while utilizing measurement tools and basic math skills.Have working knowledge of hand and air tools. Employee is regularly exposed to vibration, and occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.Regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.Be able to bend, stoop, and reach. Be able to climb up and down, as well as work using a ladder.
