Utility Worker I Salary Range: $51,486.47 - $72,081.06 (DOQ)

Utility Worker II Salary Range: $56,763.84 - $79,469.37 (DOQ)

Requirements

Utility Worker I

• High School Diploma or GED
• A valid State driver's license is required at the time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Class "D" Water Works License & Class "I" Wastewater Collection License issued by TCEQ within 12 months of hire

Utility Worker II

• HS diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of utilities related experiences, preferably in a municipality
• A valid Texas Class "C" Driver's License is required at the time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Possession of a valid Class I Wastewater Collection and Class "D" Water License issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
• Must obtain Class II Wastewater Collection OR Class "C" Water License issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) within 12 months of hire.
