Talent Acquisition Specialist

Star Cutter Company is a family owned, globally recognized, manufacturer of custom cutting tools. We are looking for an outstanding Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Novi, Michigan. Position Requirements Effectively manage the full talent acquisition process including building employer brand recognition, promoting open positions, sourcing candidates and onboarding Create effective hiring strategies customized to positions to include determining required skills and selecting appropriate job posting platforms to attract qualified candidates. Manage the recruitment process, from posting position openings to evaluating resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating final selections with hiring teams Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout evaluation and hiring process Utilize various networking and communications tools to attract passive candidates who might not be reached via position posting venues Partner closely with hiring managers throughout the recruitment and evaluation processes to set clear expectations and provide guidance on best practices Ensure career opportunities are well marketed to candidates, providing them with timely updates and feedback throughout the hiring process. Utilize the applicant tracking system to manage candidate data, track recruitment metrics, and ensure compliance with hiring policies and procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvements in the recruitment workflow and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related areas. Three or more years’ experience in talent management/human resources Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
