Job Overview The general maintenance professional ensures the building’s environment of care is functional through routine compliance inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or equivalent Minimum 1 year experience in hospital or industrial maintenance/construction Certifications/Licenses Valid New Jersey Driver License preferred Scheduling Requirements Full-Time, Night Shift Tuesday-Saturday, 12am-8am Essential Functions Perform scheduled compliance inspections and repairs as needed Respond to patient related concerns and other tasks as assigned Ensure all building systems meet safety regulations and inspect for hazards, ex: fire boundary inspections and firefighting equipment preventative maintenance Utilize work request systems, maintain records, and oversee outside contractors Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
