JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is seeking a Part-Time Research Assistant.

Contribute to research projects outlined and agreed upon with research advisor including but not limited to:

• sample preparations
• reagent preparation
• running and monitoring experiments
• operate and calibrate standard lab equipment
• check with research advisor at the beginning of each week about specific activities
• update some lab SOPs
• update inventory
• maintain record clear lab records
