We are seeking a dedicated, board?certified (or board?eligible) Primary Care Physician in Internal Medicine to join our team. The physician will provide comprehensive, continuous care in an ambulatory setting, working within a multidisciplinary, team?based care model to support preventive, acute, and chronic care for a diverse population. This role will also involve participation in quality improvement, population health initiatives, and may include teaching / mentoring as needed.Essential Responsibilities & DutiesDeliver high?quality, patient?centered primary care including preventive services, health maintenance, acute illness, and chronic disease managementConduct comprehensive health assessments, ordering, interpreting, and acting on labs, imaging, diagnostic studiesCoordinate care with specialists, ancillary services, behavioral health, social services, and community resourcesMaintain accurate, timely medical records using the electronic health record systemParticipate in population health management: outreach, registries, care gap closures, care managementEngage in quality improvement initiatives, metrics tracking, and performance goalsContribute to clinic operations, scheduling, patient panel management, and clinic flow efficiencyProvide culturally competent care to diverse patient populations, including underserved and low?income communitiesPotentially supervise, mentor, teach residents, medical students, or other learners (if aligned with academic affiliation)Qualifications & RequirementsMD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolBoard Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal MedicineValid license to practice medicine in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain)Demonstrated ability in outpatient primary care, managing both chronic and acute conditionsStrong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsCommitment to working as part of interprofessional teams (nurses, mid?level providers, social workers, etc.)Experience or interest in population health, quality improvement, or academic/teaching activities preferredAbility to provide care that respects patient diversity, with attention to health equityWorking Conditions & EnvironmentBased in an ambulatory clinic setting in BMC South; possible travel between sites if multiple clinics are under the South umbrellaCollaborative team environment with support staff including nurses, medical assistants, and ancillary servicesUse of Epic (or relevant EHR) for documentation and patient managementMay require occasional after?hours work or coverage of urgent/sick visits depending on practice structureCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceFull benefits package includes medical/dental/vision, retirement plan, paid time off, CME allowance, malpractice coverageOpportunities for professional development, leadership roles, academic appointment (if applicable)Support for work?life balance, including flexible schedule options (if applicable)Compensation range between $219,000 - $298,825The base salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to clinical FTE, qualifications, experience, education, board certifications, specialty, training, and scope of practice. The above hiring range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
