Senior QA Engineer

Seattle WA USA or Vancouver BC Canada – Onsite (Need locals only)

FTE Position

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of QA Engineer, who will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts in a big data environment. The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

Must-Have:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud for testing within cloud-based data ecosystems.
• Strong SQL skills to perform data validation and verification during testing.
• Expertise in JMeter, Selenium & Power BI for visualizing and analyzing data, aiding in the identification of data quality issues and anomalies.

Nice-to-Have:

• Proficiency in Python and PySpark for developing and executing automated test scripts in a big data environment, along with experience in performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks for data processing and testing.
• Good to have experience in Machine Learning, Data Pipelines testing (ADF), and security testing.
