Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to move, locate, and relocate products within the warehouse. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork to ensure smooth operations in the shipping and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts including clamp trucks, cherry pickers, and order pickers to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and timely.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Assist in materials handling and organization of inventory within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and maintain productivity levels.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with various types of forklifts including clamp trucks and cherry pickers is preferred.
• Strong skills in materials handling, heavy lifting, and operating heavy equipment safely.
• Ability to perform shipping and receiving tasks effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while adhering to safety standards.
• Valid forklift operator certification is a plus.
