Termite Technician

Termite Technician Termite Technicians protect customers’ properties from wood‑destroying organisms by inspecting, preventing and treating termites. They provide peace of mind to customers through quality service and client communication. Responsibilities Identify customer termite problems and use knowledge of termite behaviors to determine remedial steps. Perform termite treatment services safely and in accordance with company guidelines and standard practices. Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions. Communicate to customers critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity and discuss procedures and necessary structural modifications. Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order. Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment. Complete production forms documenting services provided. Interact with customers and explain services performed. Essential Job Functions Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations. Prepare the job site for treatment. Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders. Work comfortably 20 feet up a ladder and in small confined spaces. Have general labor, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience (plus). Work on roofs and high areas. Move frequently (sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles). Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA‑compliant respirator, and work regularly in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways. Required Qualifications Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal the face). High school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license from the state of residence. At least 1 year of customer service experience; experience in termite control is a plus. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Flexibility to work Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed. Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by the company). Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units of measure, whole numbers, fractions, decimals) to follow product label instructions.
