Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a school paraprofessional, particularly in special education settings
• Strongly preferred: direct experience supporting students with profound or severe disabilities

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and school staff
• Patience, compassion, and excellent communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students, ensuring safety and engagement in all activities
• Assist educators with classroom management, instructional activities, and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Adapt or modify classroom materials to accommodate diverse learning needs
• Offer personal care assistance to students as required, maintaining dignity and respect
