We offer a 401(k) retirement plan, student loan assistance, licensing and continuing education reimbursement, parental leave, and housing allowances or gifts./ppSUMMARY: The Maintenance Team Leader is primarily responsible for protecting, maintaining, and enhancing the value of the community while also maximizing the living experience for residents and the community. This is accomplished by ensuring that all resident maintenance issues are resolved expertly and efficiently./ppRESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to):/pulliEnsure that the property maintains an exceptional curb appeal by keeping the community grounds and buildings clean and properly maintained./liliAssist with basic repairs and other general maintenance duties./liliConsistently and genuinely demonstrate exemplary principles of customer service and teamwork./liliMaintain a safe, tidy and sanitary clubhouse, office, model, hallways and all other common areas./liliEnsure that the property is free of trash, debris and animal waste./liliEnsure that the grass and landscaping are well maintained, including the watering of flowers./liliEnsuring the best possible appearance of each apartment prior to new resident move-in./liliAdvise supervisor of items needing additional attention in the apartment; i.e. ripped carpet, torn linoleum, window or door repair, etc./liliProvide assistance with apartment turnovers as directed./liliCommunicate with the Community Manager regarding any problems with maintenance or curb appeal that requires further attention./liliRespond appropriately to emergencies, according to policies and procedures./liliParticipate in and attend all required in-service training sessions./liliEnsure understanding and compliance with all policies and procedures./liliContribute to resident satisfaction by ensuring that customers expectations are met or exceeded./liliParticipate in Cardinal U training as required./li/ulpQUALIFICATIONS:/pulli3-5 years of relevant industry experience, property management experience is a plus./liliMust have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail and basic maintenance skills./liliWorking knowledge of pool service/maintenance required./liliHigh school diploma or GED equivalent preferred./liliMust be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. and work 8-12 hour standing shifts./liliMust be able to work weekends and be available for on call emergencies./liliAbility to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day./li/ulpCANDIDATE WITH THE FOLLOWING CAREER EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:/pulliMaintenance Supervisor/liliMaintenance/liliMaintenance Manager/liliFacilities Manager/liliSupervisor/liliBuilding Manager/liliBuilding Engineer/liliFacilities Maintenance Manager/liliMaintenance Director/li/ulpWORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
