General Manager For Cannabis Retail StoreViridian Staffing's client is looking for an experienced General Manager for a Cannabis Retail Store in Brooklyn, New York. As the General Manager of a cannabis dispensary, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of a retail location in Brooklyn. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how to build a professional, customer-focused dispensary environment. You will have the opportunity to drive store operations, team hiring and training, vendor relationships, merchandising, inventory controls, cash management, compliance, customer experience, and local awareness-building efforts. The ideal candidate has experience managing a regulated cannabis retail store and understands what it takes to create repeat customers. You should be comfortable developing processes, establishing store standards, building and coaching a team, and creating a welcoming, polished, and compliant customer experience. This role will require someone who can work autonomously, make sound operational decisions, and help grow sales while maintaining strong controls and adherence to New York cannabis regulations. You bring with you at least 5+ years of retail management experience, including hands-on leadership experience in cannabis retail. Prior experience purchasing cannabis products in New York State, working with vendors, managing dispensary inventory, and using Flowhub or a similar cannabis POS platform is strongly preferred. You should also have experience with hiring, training, scheduling, cash controls, audits, compliance, and developing SOPs for a new or growing retail operation. The successful candidate should have excellent leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. You should be compliance-driven, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable creating structure within a retail operation.
