Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and develop individualized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional goals
• Implement Therapy Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Team Members: Work in close alignment with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and caregivers about therapy methods to ensure continued progress in their daily lives
• Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and fine-tune treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on the right path

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Pursuit of continuing education or post-graduate certifications is encouraged and supported

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
