FAA Assembly Mechanic

We have an outstanding Contract position for anFAA Assembly Mechanic to join a leading Company located in theKingman, AZ surrounding area.
This is a general mechanical position focused on the inspection, teardown, repair, and overhaul ofaircraft wheels and brake components.The role is ideal for entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, including those with automotive or military mechanical experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Construct, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and components.
- Perform teardown, repair, and overhaul of:
- Aircraft tires (wheel line).
- Aircraft brakes (brake line department).
- Identify worn or damaged parts and coordinate replacement.
- Use hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow established procedures and work instructions.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (as required).
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude (experience in automotive repair or similar is acceptable).
- Experience working with hand tools.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior military mechanical experience.
- 0-2 years of hands-on mechanical experience.
- Completion of apprenticeship or formal technical training (a plus).
