Location: Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center, Warm Springs, OR

Shift:

Clinic hours are generally:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Wednesday: 12:00 PM 5:00 PM

  • Entitled to a one-hour lunch period

  • The clinic is closed on federally recognized holidays and during emergency or administrative closures.

Contract Length: 1 year

Estimated Start Date: 11/23/2026

Hourly Pay Rate: $25

Weekly Stipends: $1,246

Benefits:

• Health and Welfare: $5.09/hr (Up to 40 hours worked per week)

• PTO: 5 days after 6 months, an additional 5 days at 1 year of service

• Accrued sick days: 1 hour for every 36 hours worked

• 11 Paid Holidays: Following the Government calendar throughout the year

CMA responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Interviewing and obtaining patient information;

• Reviewing and evaluating medical histories and current health status;

• Performing clinical support activities within scope of practice;

• Obtaining and recording Vital signs withing scope of practice;

• Assisting providers with examinations, procedures, and patient care;

• Performing clinical procedures within scope of practice and applicable orders;

• Providing patient education and health promotion services;

• Preparing patients for examinations and procedures;

• Collecting and preparing specimens as authorized and within scope of practice;

• Coordinating referrals and follow-up care;

• Providing patient support and follow-up care;

• Documenting all patient encounters and clinical support services in RPMS/EHR;

• Collaborating with medical providers, nursing staff, and other clinical and support staff as appropriate;

• Ensuring continuity of patient care.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program;

• Current, applicable medical assistant certification or registration;

• Current certification or registration required for the medical assistant position, if applicable;

• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical medical assisting experience or completion of a medical assistant training program;

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
