Job Title: Cable Puller
Location: Abilene, TX

Compensation:

• $25.00 ST | $37.50 OT
• Per diem and housing are not provided. Candidates must either reside in the Abilene area or be able to relocate and maintain housing locally at their own expense.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Cable Puller, you'll help install the communication backbone of large-scale data centers. Daily responsibilities include:

• Pulling, installing, and terminating fiber optic, coaxial, and low-voltage cabling
• Assisting with testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks on installed cable systems
• Reading blueprints, diagrams, and installation plans
• Documenting completed work, testing results, and site activities
• Working alongside project teams to keep installation schedules on track
• Following all jobsite safety requirements and company procedures

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic knowledge of fiber optics, cabling, connectors, or testing equipment is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical diagrams
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to work 10-12 hour shifts, 6 days per week
• Ability to work 50-80 hours per week based on project demands
• Ability to pass a background check (no felonies, violent misdemeanors, or active/open criminal cases)

Important Project Information

Before applying, please make sure you're comfortable with the following:

• This is a W-2 hourly position with weekly pay.
• Your first paycheck will be issued on the Friday following your first full week worked.
• Pay is based strictly on hours worked and recorded through official clock-in and clock-out procedures.
• Overtime is paid at 1.5x your regular rate for all hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential to success on this project.
• This is a physically demanding role that involves repetitive tasks, extended workdays, and working in hot conditions.
• Project schedules may change due to material availability, operational needs, or client-driven adjustments, including temporary pauses or location changes.
