Doctor of Medicine | Anesthesiology - Cardiac Location: Coral Gables, FL Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment providing weekday daytime anesthesia coverage with optional weekend and call responsibilities. The role involves a mix of hands‑on cardiac cases and supervisory responsibilities within a collaborative anesthesia care model. The case mix includes CABG, valve procedures, TAVR, MitraClip, EP cases, and select thoracic cases, with the majority of volume in general, orthopedic, and OB/GYN procedures. The physician will work primarily independently while also supervising APPs as needed. EMR used is Medaxion. Shift Details: Weekday day shifts, Monday–Friday Typical shift options: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, or 7:00 AM–7:00 PM Call responsibilities available and may include weekday nights and weekends Cardiac anesthesia coverage model includes both own cases and supervision Two cardiac anesthesiologists staffed daily on weekdays On‑call physician covers evenings, weekends, and 24‑hour periods as assigned Coverage Dates / Schedule: Ongoing coverage beginning April 9, 2026 Must be available to work every week of the month Minimum commitment of 20 shifts per month Weekend shifts and call are optional but preferred Schedule commonly follows a block pattern similar to 2 weeks on / 1 week off Requirements MD specializing in Cardiac Anesthesia Board Certified in Anesthesiology (required) Active Florida medical license required or proof of license application upon approval DEA registration required ACLS and BLS certifications required Ability to provide 24 months of cardiac case logs within 5 days of credentialing approval 100% clean background (no clinical, legal, or pending issues) Must not reside in restricted local counties and must meet distance requirements Prior employment restrictions apply per client policy Must provide government‑issued photo ID at submission Ability to complete credentialing (approximately 90 days) Willingness to participate in video or phone interview with site clinical leadership Benefits High‑acuity cardiac anesthesia practice environment Predominantly weekday daytime schedule Optional call and weekend shifts Broad mix of cardiac and general anesthesia cases Collaborative anesthesia care team Credentialing support availableaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
