TRAINING SPECIALIST

Job Overview You will serve as a Training Specialist in the Training Directorate of the Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR) Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek - Fort Story of CENTER FOR SECURITY FORCES. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Reviewing and evaluating curriculum components to ensure educational adequacy and compliance with applicable standards, technologies, governing instructions, acquisition requirements, and command policy; Utilizing evolving software applications and AI to provide administrative oversight, technical guidance, and database management support for curriculum and content development processes; Providing excellent oral and written communications to plan, coordinate, and advise on work efforts, and/or to resolve operational challenges through collaboration with leadership, instructional systems designers (ISDs), and all members of the curriculum development team working toward common objectives; Analyzing source materials, curriculum products, and training data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities and recommend appropriate curriculum modifications, and Utilizing knowledge of a broad range of instructional methods, training techniques, and educational technologies, including emerging developments in the field, to design, develop, and evaluate training programs and support special project initiatives. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
