Sterilization Technician
MILLENNIUMSOFT
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform decontamination of returned medical devices and accessories as per documented procedures.
- Unpack and log returned items into the Service Management System (SMS).
- Conduct external wipe-downs and visual inspection of equipment.
- Verify and tag/label returned equipment appropriately.
- Safely handle potentially contaminated equipment and use required chemicals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Disassemble devices and/or accessories as instructed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and team performance.
- Previous experience in a hospital environment preferred.
- Experience handling hazardous materials or chemicals is a plus.
- Background in mechanical or technical work preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic technical skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry .
- Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions .
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Able to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- High School Diploma or GED required .
- Must be legally authorized to work as per local employment laws.
- Physically able to handle and move equipment safely.
- Available for flexible hours including potential overtime.
