As a Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.38 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur12:00 PM - 01:00 AMFri12:00 PM - 01:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and guests at a commercial entertainment and retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of theater entrances, lobbies, parking areas, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Prepare clear and timely incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
