What We‘re Looking For

• Master‘s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure in good standing in Washington or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start.
• ASHA CCCs preferred.
• Valid Washington educator‘s license or eligibility for district-issued special education credentials.
• Experience working in K-12 school settings, including conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with school documentation and compliance with state and federal special education regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with district caseload management and progress monitoring systems.
• Experience serving students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs, including articulation, language disorders, fluency, and augmentative/alternative communication.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800-1600.
• Work days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
• Position is school-based within Federal Way, WA school district settings. Floating between district schools may be required.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide speech and language therapy in a school-based setting. Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver goal-aligned therapy. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams. Maintain compliant documentation per district, state, and federal guidelines. Contribute to positive student outcomes through evidence-based intervention and data-driven progress monitoring.
